I have always provided advice to clients since my career began 19 years ago. Initially this was in the legal property world but after a career change, the last 12 years have been providing financial advice to individuals throughout the North and East of England.
Having previously worked for a large and well respected Assurance Society for 10 years, I realised that I could serve my clients better by starting my own business. This would enable me to spend more time with my clients getting to truly understand their needs and aspirations at the same time extending the range of services I can offer.
I was awarded a Diploma in 2012 by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This involves a commitment to continuing professional development and adherence to an industry standard Code of Ethics. I am currently working to achieve Chartered status.
I provide a fully personalised and bespoke service and specialise in the following areas of financial management:
Financial planning can seem extremely complex at times, but my aim is to explain the necessary information to each client in a clear and concise manner to ensure that every aspect is understood. This, coupled with my passion to build and maintain ongoing relationships, reinforces my commitment to intergenerational financial planning for families.
Over my career, I have developed a specialism in helping those in the education sector. I have expert level knowledge around the career paths, pension scheme and the other inclusive benefits those professionals are entitled to. I work closely with schools and colleges across the North of England and run regular financial wellbeing events for their staff.
My spare time is spent with family and we enjoy travelling, cycling and exploring all things 'boys' with our son Max. I help coach his football team so my weekends are generally spent in a muddy field somewhere in Yorkshire!
